ABOUT CADEN WHEELER
I recently concluded a highly successful tenure as Sailing Director at James Island Yacht Club, where I had the privilege of leading one of the fastest-growing and most impactful junior sailing programs in the Southeast. During my time there, I grew enrollment to record numbers, expanded racing opportunities, and built a culture that emphasized safety, teamwork, and personal growth both on and off the water. Watching young sailors develop confidence and skill while strengthening the club’s reputation was one of the most rewarding experiences of my time there.Currently, I am pursuing my MBA at the College of Charleston with a concentration in Finance. I’m excited to expand on my leadership and operational background by deepening my expertise in financial strategy, capital allocation, and data-driven decision-making. My diverse professional journey, from logistics and aviation to program leadership, has shaped me into a strategic, adaptable leader who thrives at the intersection of people, process, and performance.Outside of work, I’m a lifelong learner with a passion for history, music, and connecting with people. When I’m not picking up a new song on guitar, you can usually find me at the beach, on the golf course, or out on the water. I surround myself with positive, motivated people and bring that same energy wherever I go, living life to the fullest and encouraging others to do the same.
