About Cade Carlson
At the ripe age of six, I fell in love with baseball. As any six year old, I KNEW that I would be drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals, and playing in the MLB by the time I was 18. As it turns out, I will NOT be playing in the MLB. This is when I realized I had even more interest in the business side of the game. In my opinion, the best part of the season in the offseason. There are so many developments such as free agency, trades and arbitration. This is the most intriguing part of the season. I love predicting contracts a certain player may sign or even making up mock trades. I get excited about players looking in their back pocket and then seeing how they position themselves even more than a homerun. My favorite way to spend my birthday, which happens to be the same day of the trade deadline, is to follow all 30 teams and evaluate the transactions that are being made.
