ABOUT CADE METZ

As a Sports Management student at Ohio University with a minor in Marketing, I am passionate about combining my love for sports with strong business and operational skills. Through my experiences in collegiate athletics, professional sports events, and customer-focused roles, I’ve developed a well-rounded skill set in operations, sales, and relationship management. Currently, I serve as an Equipment Student Manager for the Ohio University Football Team, where I coordinate game-day logistics, manage equipment inventories, and build strong relationships with athletes, coaches, and vendors. My internship with the American Junior Golf Association allowed me to deliver high-level service to players, families, and sponsors while representing a nationally recognized brand. Beyond operations, I’ve honed my sales and leadership abilities through roles at Swish 365 and Olive Garden, generating revenue, upselling services, and providing exceptional customer experiences. As an active member of the Schey Sales Center and the Sports Business Association, I enjoy mentoring peers, facilitating workshops, and connecting with industry professionals to create opportunities in the sports business world I’m eager to leverage my experience in sports operations, sales, and event management to contribute to professional sports organizations, with a focus on sales or operations.
