I am a Chartered Accountant (May 2023) and a commerce graduate from Delhi University. I completed my articleship with Anil Vaish & Co, where I honed my skills in accounting, auditing, and taxation. During my tenure, I managed tasks such as preparing and filing tax returns, conducting statutory audits, and advising clients on various tax strategies, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.Currently, I work as a Senior in the Deal Advisory – Mergers & Acquisitions Tax and Private Equity team at KPMG. In this role, I lead tax due diligence projects across industries like Pharmaceuticals, Education, and Automation, analyze financials from a tax perspective, and advise clients on complex tax and regulatory matters, including indirect transfer of shares, slump sale transactions, and overseas investments. I have also worked extensively in Corporate Tax and International Taxation, assisting overseas clients with tax return filings in India, facilitating tax treaty benefits, and advising on domestic and international transactions involving royalty, fees for technical services, and permanent establishment exposure. Additionally, I have handled advance tax computations, withholding applications, and tax regulatory compliance.I am committed to continuously improving my knowledge and skills through ongoing education and practical experience.
