Cacey M. Williams is a student leader, public servant, and aspiring policymaker passionate about equity, civic engagement, and creating opportunities for others to succeed. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies at High Point University, where he is preparing for a future in government affairs and public policy. His academic concentration includes comparative politics, public administration, and constitutional law, providing him with a strong foundation in both theory and practice. Cacey has distinguished himself through impactful experiences in government and law. He has interned for Senator Angela Alsobrooks in the U.S. Senate, Congressman Kweisi Mfume in the House of Representatives, and Judge Mason in Prince George’s County Circuit Court. These roles sharpened his ability to research policy, draft legislation, and understand the intricacies of governance at every level. On campus, Cacey has consistently blended leadership with service. He is the first African American male to serve two consecutive terms as Student Government Association President, representing over 1,600 students and serving on more than eight university committees. As Executive President of the High Point University NAACP, he leads initiatives around voter engagement, social justice advocacy, and community outreach. He also serves as Program Chair of the Impact Diversity Mentorship Program, which matches hundreds of underrepresented students with mentors to ensure academic and social success.Cacey’s leadership has earned him recognition as Male Trailblazer of the Year, Voice of the Future Awardee, and Mr. Black Student Union. Known for his ability to unite people around a shared vision, he aspires to be a policymaker who empowers communities and creates meaningful change.
