I currently lead a team of attorneys that provide legal support to our Worldwide Business Desk and field attorneys, responsible for commercial contracting for our Volume Licensing business, both products and online services, as well as our Support and Consulting Services businesses. I am also a lead attorney supporting our largest strategic deals and escalations from around the world. My primary focus areas are privacy, including our data protection terms, and intellectual property protection of our services deliverables to customers. I also regularly provide guidance to our product offerings business group. Previously, I was supporting the Bing Ads engineering team on products and services developed and offered through the Bing Ads platform. I also provided legal support to the business development team negotiating Bing and Bing Ads syndication and distribution deals worldwide. During my tenure, I completed two strategic sales and support agreements with AOL Advertising Inc. AppNexus, Inc. to outsource Microsoft\'s display and video advertising business to AOL and AppNexus around the world. Prior to that, I was part of the Microsoft Advertising group, providing advice and guidance to the business and engineering teams responsible for online video and display advertising. I also supported advertising on Xbox, online, and in Windows applications. I routinely worked with the business development team on strategic agreements related to online advertising and premium partnerships. I also advised on privacy and supported Microsoft’s participation in the Digital Advertising Alliance’s self-regulatory program for online behavioral advertising.
