Having ran multiple half-marathons, Balkishan is a dynamic Chartered Accountant who has raised to the ranks at WIRC of the ICAI. Coming from a humble background, he started his CA practice in Surat, a place far from his small hometown in Haryana. With time, he has grown with his network of influential leaders, including hon\'ble PM Modi, to bring positive change in the professional as well as social domain.His prescience is to see Chartered Accountancy profession at a larger summit with a holistic upskilling & development of its members and students. To effectuate this, he started his journey with ICAI back in 2013 and still progressing. Since then, there is no looking back, his aim to serve for the profession has been enduring.\"I have miles to go before I sleep!\", he strongly believes & practices this phrase by Robert Frost in his daily life. He is an active leader and board member of various social, religious and charitable institutions, such as Ekal Abhiyan which runs over 1 lakh Ekal Vidhalays in the Rural Area across India.Working closely with NGOs, Police department & Municipal Corporations, he has helped over 1 lakh people with food & basic amenities during COVID lockdown, oversaw vaccination of over 40 thousand people and held around 100 blood donation camps.
