I’m a Chartered Accountant with over three years of experience across financial accounting, audits, and process automation. I’ve had the opportunity to work with Deloitte and Amazon, two organizations that have shaped my understanding of both compliance and operational excellence.At Deloitte, I worked on project audits for Vedanta Ltd, one of India’s largest mining conglomerates. My role involved performing risk-based audits of CAPEX payments, high-value purchase orders, and conducting monthly MIS reviews and stakeholder discussions. This experience gave me a strong foundation in risk identification, process controls, and capital project governance.At Amazon, I transitioned into a more operational finance role, supporting month-end close activities with a focus on GST-related accounting — including posting PL and BS entries for blocked credits, ITC utilization, reinstatement of GST on QPD, and preparing bank reconciliations and vendor financing reconciliations. I also handled GST operational and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring data accuracy and compliance readiness.Beyond my core responsibilities, I took ownership of automating manual reconciliations such as BRS and VCF using AI-driven solutions, which helped the team save over 100 hours in FY26. This initiative not only improved efficiency but also strengthened the accuracy and reliability of our outputs.Overall, I’d describe myself as detail-oriented, process-driven, and someone who likes to think big — not just solving a problem for today, but creating a scalable solution for tomorrow.
