ABOUT SHAZIN RAFI
A CA and Bachelor of Commerce graduate from Government Victoria College, Palakkad, my experience as an Industrial Trainee at SLB broadened my professional expertise over both direct and indirect tax domains, where my efforts were directed at ensuring smooth work flow and compliance. I have worked extensively on indirect taxation processes such as GSTR filings, RCM workings, and ensuring compliance with SOFTEX and obtaining eBRCs and instrumental in helping secure ITC refunds. I have also supported direct taxation tasks, including TDS payments, resolving vendor issues, and filing SFT forms. Prior to this I served as an Article Assistant at Sivadas C & Company, gaining hands-on experience in statutory and tax audits, ledger reconciliation, and compliance with accounting standards. My core competencies include GST, TDS, litigation as well as compliance, and my experience of 2 years on an elite CA firm coupled with industrial experience has made me ready to face the next phase of my professional journey.
