My role involves maintaining the fixed assets and reporting the MOM variances and their reason.Key responsibilities :Daily tasks of creation of internal orders (IO), assignment of budgets to the IOs, creation of assets and capitalisation of the same, partial and full writeoff of assets, modification of the IOs and assets as requested.Month end tasks such as preparation of history sheets to load the balances to Cognos, Preparation of Reconciliation between the fixed assets balances and their MOM variances with reasons and preparation of Reconciliation of Capex Payables with reasons for MOM variances Quarterly activities (SOX Controls) such as 1. Trigger for Reassessment - Mainly to send a trigger for lease team whether to extend the lease term.2. Asset Relifing - To check whether the asset life needs to be decreased as compared with the lease term of the stores3. AUC File - To clear the AUC balance and capitalise the same as fixed assets.4. Quarterly Capex Control - To check whether any capex payable is due for more than 24 months and reason for the same.
