As a professional in the field, I am responsible for overseeing the meticulous upkeep and maintenance of books for Alternative Investment Funds. This includes ensuring the timely declaration of Net Asset Value (NAV) on a monthly basis and delivering comprehensive reports to clients. I maintain constant communication with auditors, advocates, merchant bankers, consultants, and software vendors/developers to facilitate seamless operations. Additionally, I am entrusted with the task of computing the total income for Alternative Investment Funds, remitting advance tax periodically, and ensuring compliance with income tax regulations. I play a key role in ensuring the timely completion of statutory audits for both Alternative Investment Funds and Investment Managers. Handling periodical inspections by regulators is another aspect of my role. Compliance is a cornerstone of my work, and I take pride in ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and processes. This includes filing periodical activity reports with SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) for Alternative Investment Funds, as well as providing timely reports to Trustees on AIF regulations compliance and submitting annual compliance test reports. Furthermore, I independently handle GST compliance, including filing returns and reconciliation, for Alternative Investment Funds, Unifi Capital, and its subsidiaries and associates.
