Chartered Accountant with experience in Technical Accounting (USGAAP, IFRS), Auditing (US GAAP and I GAAP), SOX Audit (COSO 2013).Currently I am part of FAAS division of EY.My role involves working on implementation of new accounting pronouncements, drafting of accounting policies, SEC reporting and resolving technical accounting issues specifically for Insurance sector.Prior to EY, I was part of Technical Accounting Group at MetLife. My role involved assistance in new standards implementation (ASC 944-LDTI, 842, 606, IFRS 15, 16, 17 etc.), resolving technical accounting issues, drafting accounting policies, delivering training to associates on technical topics, drafting newsletter containing recent accounting updates (FASB, IASB, SEC etc.)Prior to MetLife, I was a part of Statutory Audit division at KPMG. My key assignments involved Audit as per USGAAP, IGAAP, SOX Audit and Tax audit.
