   Effective April 1, 2025, as part of the integration of Credit Suisse and UBS, I have become a part of UBS’s Regulatory Reporting Data Assurance team.Key roles and responsibilities1) Executing the Data Assurance Testing Plan for U.S. and Non-U.S. reporting processes by scheduling and conducting Data Assurance Review activities. This includes holding process walkthrough meetings with Reporting teams and Data Providers, understanding the controls over the reporting process, assessing the adequacy of those controls, and performing transaction-level testing to ensure conformance with regulatory requirements. 2) Performing sample-based transaction testing to validate the accuracy and integrity of data within the reporting processes. 3) Preparing detailed and insightful reports summarizing the testing procedures, results, and key conclusions. 4) Reviewing remediation actions to assess the closure of identified risks and tracking their resolution through follow-up activities. 5) Collaborating across the second line of defense and working closely with stakeholders to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance. 6) Acting as a key point of contact for business teams by providing regular updates on testing progress and proactively assisting in resolving issues.
