Job Responsibilities:Finalization of Accounts for Group Companies: Lead the finalization of accounts for diverse sectors including Media, Infrastructure & Housing, FMCG, Trusts, Manufacturing concern, Adventure Sports, Hospitality & Dairy. Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Statutory Audit Management: Oversee the statutory audit process for group companies, liaising with auditors to facilitate smooth audits and ensure timely submission of financial statements.Tax Planning and Appeals: Develop tax planning strategies and prepare income tax appeals. Represent the company in income tax appeals and GST matters, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax efficiency.Corporate Compliance and Governance: Maintain compliance with corporate laws, regulations, and internal policies. Ensure adherence to legal and secretarial governance standards, mitigating risks and ensuring business continuity.Financial Reporting and Analysis: Present accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders, including the board of directors. Analyze financial data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.Risk Management and Contract Oversight: Review and control legal contracts, statutory obligations, liabilities, and contingencies. Assess and report on risks associated with financial operations, providing recommendations to mitigate risks effectively.Budget Oversight and Performance Analysis: Lead the budgeting process, gathering input from various departments and comparing actual performance against estimates. Provide analysis and recommendations to optimize resource allocation and improve financial performance.Supervision and Team Development: Supervise accounting, finance, and IT functions, providing guidance and support to team members. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development to enhance the skills and capabilities of the finance team.
