About Matt Eason
I am a Senior Operations Director offering 10+ years of combined experience in the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of globally-expansive operations and logistics programs. Over the course of my career as an Officer in the U.S. Special Forces (Green Berets), I have earned recognition as an insightful leader, capable of overcoming obstacles and promoting a culture of optimal engagement, performance, and productivity. I currently serve as the Director of Training Operations and Strategic Planning for the 10th Special Forces Group. As a division leader, I oversee an enterprise-level training program as well as a $50M asset portfolio allocated to program initiatives. Prior to this position, I served as a U.S. Special Forces Operations Director where I played a pivotal role in building foreign internal defense programs, cultivating diplomatic relationships, advising U.S. and foreign military officials, and conducting training to thousands of military professionals across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. I hold a B.S. in Geospatial Information Science from West Point and am currently enrolled in the MBA program at the Wharton School of Business. Over the next two years, I will be focused on furthering my strengths in micro and macro-economics, business analytics, executive decision-making, and management communications with an end-goal of leveraging my real-world leadership experience gained in the military, alongside my academics, to influence positive change and organizational success trajectories.
