The Connected Services Division supplies software services to the mobile communications industry. Harman has a workforce of approximately people across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.• Handling Immigration for UK, Europe, APAC, & USA to ensure all the paperwork is acquired and filed with the Immigration authorities.• Connecting with the Business team to understand the requirements and guide the appropriate visa category, process and SLA.• Liaising with Immigration lawyers, Consulate, and Embassies on a weekly basis to gain an understanding of the requirements.• Involved in processing work permits, visa stamping, legalization, and In-country process. • Drafting Support letters, determining and preparing suitable immigrant visa documents.• Drafting and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for all countries and regularly updating them if necessary. Developing immigration reports for all divisions in Harman and sharing them with higher management.• Liaising with the compensation benefit team and advising the wage requirements as per immigration law, • Keeping all stakeholders (Employee, Manager and Higher Management) informed of any changes related to Immigration.• Conducting Internal Audit and maintaining all documents in place.• Preparing invoices for all the filing fees, Led various internal reviews and audits of immigration data and processes. Preparing reports for key accounts, handling immigration records, and connecting with the business team on a weekly basis to update status, support the need and handle the challenges, Build and track processes, and define documentation for approval processes to address measures of control to counter misuse of visas and conduct internal audits on immigration documents and process.
