As an Estimating Manager at Transportation Investment Corporation, I bring over 17 years of experience in civil engineering and construction estimation, with a proven track record of delivering accurate and strategic cost assessments for major transportation infrastructure projects across British Columbia. Holding a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, a Certificate in the BC Building Code, and registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with Engineers & Geoscientists British Columbia, I combine technical depth with strategic project management expertise. In my current role, I lead the preparation, analysis, and review of detailed cost estimates and project documentation for complex projects, including bridges, highways, tunnels, and rail systems. I collaborate closely with engineers, inspectors, and consultants to ensure that every project is economically feasible, technically sound, and aligned with organizational objectives. My experience spans procurement, negotiation, and project commissioning, where I consistently support data-driven decision-making and cost optimization. I am highly proficient in a range of industry-standard software, including MS Office, Bluebeam, Planswift, Heavy Bid, Bid2Win, SketchUp, and AutoCAD, enabling efficient, technology-driven workflows.
