As the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for CGI\'s US Global Technology Operations (GTO) Business Unit, I drive technical strategy in support of our US Commercial, State, and Local Government strategic business unit, as well as our CGI Federal strategic business unit. This includes security architecture, security tools, Azure, AWS, GCP, Salesforce; and numerous other on-premises and As-A-Service providers and architecture. I split my time between client facing, multi-industry and geography work, and internal operational and financial improvement within our US datacenters and operations. I am also the primary architectural and operational contact for our Cloud Risk Assessment process in the US, in support of our Responsible Use of the Cloud program. A recent major success was building a private on-premises Kubernetes-as-a-Service cloud with both PKS/Tanzu and SUSE Rancher orchestrators, with a NIST 800-53 Rev 4 baseline security applied. We\'re now expanding much of this learning to include StateRAMP certification, as well as planned upgrades to NIST 800-53 Rev5. Prior to this role I led the Enterprise Architecture team with Azure, AWS, Networking, and virtualization architects reporting to me.
