Complete a comprehensive training program designed to build entry-level technical skills within a chosen discipline, such as Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, or Data & Analytics.• Collaborate closely with a mentor to complete structured on‑the‑job training, gaining a broad understanding of the technology discipline, how specific tools and systems are used within the Bank, and how these technologies integrate to deliver solutions and services for internal and external customers.• Contribute to projects and departmental initiatives that support career growth and enhance interpersonal, communication, and time‑management skills.• Gain exposure to key technology concepts through guest speakers, industry experts, and a built‑in peer network.• Develop both technical and professional skills to support placement in a Technology domain after program completion, based on assessment results, performance, and individual interests.• Understand and follow the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in alignment with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify and escalate risk‑related issues to management as needed.• Foster an inclusive and engaging environment that reflects the M&T Bank brand and promotes a sense of belonging.• Maintain M&T internal control standards, including the timely resolution of internal and external audit findings and issues raised by regulators, as applicable.• Perform other related duties as assigned.
