About Byron D.
My journey has been unique, from starting a business while in college, to being guided by amazing mentors and leaders at some of the most recognizable names in business (D&B, EY, Deloitte). I was privileged to grow personally while providing value to a diverse range of businesses. Subsequently, I was then an early employee at a Jim Clark founded startup, myCFO (the subject of Michael Lewis\' book \'The New New Thing: A Silicon Valley Story\'). With a desire to return to producing things from the earth with my hands, I founded a dimension stone quarry, and worked with private equity to ultimately grow it into Salado USA. I\'ve had successful consulting experiences with companies like Sheshunoff (regulatory and compliance publishing), Cedar Valley Labs (sustainable agriculture), and Local Dutch (helping bring Netherlands controlled environment agriculture technologies to the US). Passionate about continuous growth and giving back, I\'m eagerly looking forward to what the future holds.
