About Blake Winchell

I have been managing, investing in and consulting to entrepreneurial businesses in Silicon Valley for almost forty years. I\'ve been a venture-backed CEO, a corporate intrapreneur, a public company CEO and board member, and for the last thirty years, a venture capital investor. In addition to technology investing, our firm, Partner Ventures, is actively involved in investing in the search fund asset class where we have over four dozen investments in searchers and operating companies around the world. I\'m am \'paying it forward\' by being a professor of entrepreneurship in two highly rated courses at IE Business School in Madrid, one of the top business schools in Europe. On the personal front, I am an active outdoorsman and love hiking, camping, scuba diving, hunting, fishing, sailing, kayaking and playing bad golf. I\'m also very involved with amateur theatre having written, directed and/or performed in more than 100 shows in the last 35 years, including writing two musical comedies and one musical drama that were performed for audiences of over a thousand people each. I\'m now working on my first screenplay.
