About Brian Davison
As the Co-Founder of SBV, I lead a platform aimed at accelerating careers in the sports industry. We support both aspiring and established professionals through a connected ecosystem of tools and opportunities — including our community platform, The Playbook, university mentorship programs, a curated job board, and live events. Our community comprises over engaged sports industry professionals, and our partners span universities, professional teams, and global brands. We help organizations attract talent, build brand equity, and navigate growth through strategic partnerships, content, and recruitment support. SBV also amplifies the sports business landscape through media, executive spotlights, and virtual activations — all designed to connect the next generation of leaders with real opportunity. For over 18 years, I have worked across multiple business segments in the sports industry. My wide range of experiences includes coaching collegiate basketball, which resulted in an NCAA National Tournament appearance; building Giannis Antetokounmpo\'s signature business, the largest footwear launch in Nike Basketball History; and winning an NBA Championship as a Front Office Executive with the Milwaukee Bucks. As a Board Trustee member at Brevard College, I am deeply committed to fostering academic growth and excellence. I aim to ensure the college maintains an environment where students can thrive and succeed. I also serve on the Board of Advisors for Arizona State University\'s W. P. Carey School of Business and the board of NBA All-Star Pascal Siakam\'s non-profit, PS43 Foundation. Throughout my career, my passion has been to build authentic relationships through honesty, professionalism, and kindness. I have led and developed multi-million-dollar businesses through strategic direction, cross-functional understanding and communication, and creative problem-solving.
