   Professional Presence, Public Speaking and Elocution (Voice & Speech) Coaching. VIRTUAL & IN-PERSON Motivated self-improvers seek BVocal presence and public speaking coaching for several reasons. Some are concerned that their non-verbal signals make them seem unsure of themselves, limiting effectiveness. Others don’t like the way their voice sounds. Professional speakers seek my knowledge of theatrical techniques to enhance their ability to engage an audience. I help my clients to speak well, clearly, with confidence, and to connect with and positively influence any audience in-person or via any audio / visual medium (phone, microphone, camera). My lifelong experience in the theater as performer, director and educator inform how I work with clients to teach them new skills that will bring the results they desire. We frequently use video in coaching sessions as a powerful feedback technique. Our initial assessment leads to mutually agreed-to areas of focus.PRESENCE COACHINGMOST of our communication is non-verbal. Having PRESENCE means knowing how to connect with and engage others through our non-verbal skills to: • Project a confident, powerful first impression• Establish trust and credibility• Own the room• Connect with and elicit positive response from any audienceVOICE AND SPEECH COACHING typically involves projection; breath support; diction and articulation; tone and pitch; intonation and inflection for expression and meaning. For clients who arefrequently misunderstood when they speak English, my theater-based methods engage body and brain in learning to play a new accent – Standard American. PUBLIC SPEAKING & PERFORMANCE DELIVERYClients receive practical techniques to positively influence and impact their audience through storytelling and humor; variety; emotion; movement on the dais/stage or in the camera frame; pause; gesture and handling mics & props. I also help performing artists refine craft or prepare for auditions.
