ABOUT HA VIET BUI

I am an experienced professional in Procurement and Supply Chain Management. I have 10+ years of experience in big multinational corporations like BP and IKEA, and I hold a Master\'s degree of Supply Chain Management with Distinction. My career is strongly inspired by my father, a seafarer who enjoyed moving cargo to places in the world. I can perform multiple tasks because I learn fast and I possess a great mixed experience from operational to strategical levels in procurement and supply chain: sourcing, negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, tender and contract management, purchasing and ordering processes, reporting and analysing, inventory controlling, demand/production/capacity planning, distribution/transport/logistics optimisation. I am also skillful in project and quality management, sales and marketing, customer services, training and consulting, web and systems development, multimedia designing, and sustainable development. My unique strength is the ability to think strategically and utilise a holistic approach for any issue, therefore I could bring a thorough solution, by making use of my duo backgrounds in business management and engineering, my mixed experiences in various areas, my different roles as buyer/seller and employee/employer, together with my care for the human being and nature. People say I am an excellent communicator, thanks to my services in a wide range of organisations and stakeholders, from multinational corporations, SMEs, to non-profit and public sectors. I deeply fall in love with all beings and the nature. I am trying not only to practice zero waste living, but also to create green communities, and to seek new solutions to advance businesses to move beyond procurement and supply chain towards sustainability. I have a number of initiatives including the first Green Living Network in Viet Nam with thousands of followers, and a sustainable business consulting firm who is trusted by leading international entities. I am playing football every Sunday with my friends, and I am a paddler for Valley Dragonboat Club in Wellington Dragon Boat Festival 2022.
