ABOUT BURTON COSGROVE
With over two decades of experience, I am a dedicated Geologist and Agrologist specializing in contaminated soil and groundwater assessments, remediation, reclamation, and soil classification. Throughout my career, I\'ve successfully managed and conducted numerous projects on commercial properties and upstream oil and gas facilities throughout Western Canada.My extensive background includes soil surveys for various environmental assessments, focusing on reclamation planning for mining, transportation, and pipeline construction projects. I\'ve also conducted geophysical investigations for contaminated sites and aggregate identification, most recently also having an amazing experience contributing to \"The Curse of Oak Island\" Season 10.Living with adult ADHD has shaped my personal and professional journey, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. I\'ve developed effective strategies to manage ADHD, transforming challenges into growth opportunities. This inspired me to offer one-on-one coaching services, helping others navigate similar struggles and unlock their potential. I am also working towards development in AI coaching and prompt engineering and plan to offer coaching services in the near future. My professional strengths include robust project planning and management skills, encompassing scheduling, budgeting, and overseeing contractor and client deliverables. I\'ve honed my ability to communicate effectively with clients, operators, landowners, contractors, and regulatory bodies.I\'m passionate about collaborating with dedicated professionals to find cost-effective solutions to environmental challenges. My versatile approach allows me to engage in various aspects of projects, including both soil and water resources.
