In an energy climate with aging nuclear infrastructure, facilities are looking to extend the life (Subsequent License Renewal) of their structures by 2 to 4 more decades, we can help extend service life of these structures by 50 years.Structural Technologies can mitigate piping systems and infrastructures in order to continue safe and reliable production of nuclear energy. Structural Technologies experience has effectively planned and executed projects at nuclear facilities with the areas of Safety, Quality, Safety Conscious Work Environment, Human Performance and schedule/cost always in mind.I have been part of the nuclear industry for 34 years (27 years with the utilityand 7 as a consultant). He has led the industry in the development of the buried /underground piping and tanks initiative and programs. He led the buried and undergroundpiping and tank NEI and NRC discussions which describe the health and weaknesses ofthe nuclear industries assets. He has performed analysis on over 45 miles of buried andunderground piping and assessments on implementing program health.
