ABOUT BULLO MAMO
A plant scientist with over a decade of experience in plant pathology, genetics, and breeding, Bullo is a postdoctoral scholar at UCR, working to discover traits and develop plants with good agronomic performance and higher yield or produce. Passionate about the power of plant genetics, breeding, pathology, and biotechnology to support human nutrition and sustainability. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. in plant pathology/genetics and plant biotechnology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and Wageningen University. He was a Canadian Government Laboratory NSERC Visiting Fellow at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Saskatchewan.
