There’s a difference between coaching leaders from theory, and coaching leaders who are carrying real responsibility.I’ve spent more than 30 years inside high-stakes businesses, holding roles across operations, IT, sales, and executive leadership. I’ve been responsible for teams, revenue, systems, clients, and outcomes often in complex, regulated, and fast-moving environments where mistakes were expensive and pressure was constant.That experience shapes how I work today. I understand leadership not as an abstract concept, but as something that shows up in decisions, conversations, and results.As an ICF-certified Professional Coach (PCC), I bring that lived experience into my work with executives, founders, and senior leaders across industries.A significant part of my career was built in and around the construction and built-environment industries sectors where accountability, execution, and clarity are non-negotiable. Working in operations, technology, and leadership roles in these environments taught me what it truly means to lead when the stakes are high, margins are tight, and decisions have real consequences.That experience continues to inform my coaching today, regardless of industry.Today, through Mary Cioffi Executive Coaching Services, I support leaders in two complementary ways.I provide executive and leadership coaching to leaders who want to think more clearly under pressure, communicate more effectively, and lead with greater confidence and consistency. My coaching focuses on real-world leadership challenges, navigating growth, managing people, making hard decisions, and staying grounded while carrying responsibility.In addition, I offer fractional operations leadership as a specialty for select clients. In these engagements, I work alongside leadership teams to bring clarity to operations, improve alignment between strategy and execution, and reduce risk tied to process breakdowns or over-reliance on individuals.
