About Buddy Ragland

In his years of practice, Mr. Ragland has developed a broad base of architectural knowledge and now serves as principal-in-charge of many on-going projects for the firm. His experience has been gained by working on national as well as international commissions, ranging from substantial hospitality, residential and commercial works to medical, institutional, educational, and religious complexes. Mr. Ragland is also responsible for the daily administration of on-site supervision and cost estimating of all projects as well as the coordination for and quality control of construction administrative services for the firm. Mr. Ragland negotiates and writes many of the contracts for design services for Coleman and Partners. He routinely advises and helps clients understand the terms and conditions in Owner/Contractor agreements as well as mediates solutions to problems arising therefrom.Mr. Ragland continues to be an active participant in all levels of the American Institute of Architects including having served as the AIA Louisiana’s Lobbyist. He has served as guest juror and lecturer at the School of Architecture at Louisiana State University, and continues to be involved in numerous local nonprofit boards and many other civic pursuits.
