Balfour Beatty and VINCI. Two huge organisations that have joined forces to deliver a vital part of an iconic infrastructure project that will bring a new level of connectivity to the UK.It is HS2. It is Europe’s largest project of its kind.And it will connect major cities, businesses, industries and 30 million people, reducing travel time from London to the North. Being part of it means that you will become better connected too.The size, scale and scope of HS2 is immense. Our challenge is to design and build the largest section of HS2’s Phase One route. This covers about 90km from Long Itchington in Warwickshire, to the centre of Birmingham and on into Handsacre, in Staffordshire.
