I’ve been interested in programming since childhood and I’m grateful that I’ve been able turn that interest into a successful software engineering career.Most of my time has been spent at Thomson Reuters where I wrote accounting software. Early on I used C# and SQL to create an award-winning Windows application, and later I helped rewrite that same application as a web app utilizing AngularJS and C#. I can contribute to any point of the software development lifecycle, from planning and requirements to architecture and implementation. Additionally, I can contribute code to any layer of a web application: database, back end, or front end. I enjoy leading full stack development teams. Note that I have extensive experience leading and working with remote and off-shore software development teams.I prefer to write code that is easy to read and understand, and has a variety of tests to vouch for its correctness.
