About Erica S. Buckman

Florida native, Erica Bolden, formerly Buckman, initially began her professional career in Law Enforcement as a Georgia POST Certified Police Officer. Through years of experience, interacting with the public, she quickly discovered that “People didn’t need more police, instead they needed a greater sense of community.”Erica immediately pivoted her focus to pursue her career as a social entrepreneur. In 2017, she founded a residential lifestyle management company called Homey Lifestyle Management, LLC (formerly Beknown Communities). By leveraging amenities built within communities, she has been able to create a lifestyle which residents experience social connectedness and belonging where they live. You can think of her as the neighborhood social connector. However, Erica’s journey doesn’t end there. She has not only obtained a master certification for event management, but, became a licensed Community Association Manager (CAM) with Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC).
