If we take the time to open our eyes, ears, minds, and hearts we can draw from the collective knowledge and experience of those around us to make us better today than we were yesterday. My career in IT began 10 years ago with a phone call on a Sunday afternoon from the Recruiting Manager at Pomeroy. She was desperately searching for someone to join the Corporate Recruiting Team. I was in between careers at the time and even though I was somewhat hesitant about accepting the interview as I didn\'t have any background in IT, I decided to go for it. After a successful interview I was offered the position and accepted with eyes wide open knowing it would be a new adventure and an opportunity to expand my skillset. Fast forward 10 years and with my recruiting days firmly in the rearview I remain in IT, having transitioned to the world of IT Service Solutions and Sales where I focus specifically on Strategy and Solution Development, Intelligent Financial Modeling and Analysis, Content Creation, and Client Negotiations. My time at Pomeroy has afforded me the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry, gaining invaluable experience, which has helped build a solid foundation from which I am able to lead and affect change. As Head of The Engagement Group, I am laser-focused on putting Pomeroy in the best position to WIN MORE, which means constantly creating and refining our solutions and strategies, developing creative new content that tells the story of who we are and the value we bring to any organization, and injecting Continuous Intelligence into our financial models that acts and reacts in real-time, which gives us the ability to approach business in a smarter way. As I round the corner and begin my second decade in IT I see no signs of slowing. In fact, as the speed of business accelerates, so do I. With an onslaught of changes in the form of AI, Innovation, RPA and Machine Learning I believe we\'ve only scratched the surface of the potential impacts IT can have on our everyday lives. I\'m truly excited to be in a position to lead that transformation and can\'t wait to see what the future holds.
