With over 15 years of experience as a leader, engineer, and architect in the software industry, I am passionate about creating innovative and scalable solutions that solve real-world problems and empower users. As the CTO at Lingopie, I am responsible for the technical vision, strategy, and execution of the company\'s edtech platform that offers immersive and interactive language learning through binge-worthy TV shows and movies.Since joining Lingopie in April 2020, I have taken an alpha product running on a single instance and built it into a robust and reliable platform that serves hundreds of thousands of paying users and is ready for the next stage of growth. I interviewed, hired, and managed 3 small remote development teams and a BI team, and established the development process for working together with Product, Design, QA, and Support.

   Transformed an alpha web product running on a single instance into a robust, scalable platform serving hundreds of thousands of paying users- Directed the development of applications across Android, iOS, Android TV, Fire TV, Roku, and created Chrome and Safari extensions, utilizing both internal and external teams- Designed and implemented a scalable infrastructure using CDNs for video streaming and image optimization, Kubernetes for scaling, caching mechanisms, and asynchronous worker pools- Built and Managed Remote Teams: Recruited and oversaw multiple remote development teams and a BI team, fostering collaboration with Product, BI, Design, QA, and Support departments- Established effective development processes and coordinated with the Product team to prioritize and scope the development roadmap- Maintained and optimized the infrastructure for cost-efficiency by tracking usage, consolidating servers, and switching vendors; implemented monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address issues- Introduced machine learning and natural language processing functionalities to enhance product features and significantly increase operational efficiency.
