WORK HISTORY
Senior Product Manager @League
I now lead the team responsible for tooling that allows customers to configure and manage content on our platform. The vast majority of the work includes providing APIs and tooling for development teams to integrate their capabilities with our platform, enabling consistent and reliable configuration and management. Our tooling automatically generates a customizable management interface from the API schema of configuration services. Led the enablement and rollout of these tools to many R&D teams. I also act as the design lead (both visual and API) for all configuration-focused components used by our platform.I also led the concepting, API/tooling design, implementation and socialization process for rearchitecting a monolithic and tightly-coupled server-driven UI platform into one that is composable and modular. Introduced an approach for developers to implement custom renderers for any component. This was important since our customers wanted a very different look & feel for their apps, but it was cost-prohibitive to remake the UI business logic every time. This server-driven UI platform still builds on the concepts I helped put in place and is now very widely used across the organization (and by third-party developers).

ABOUT BRAD SWERDFEGER
I’m a technology triple-threat, with professional experience in design, engineering and product management. My specialty is in acting as a bridge from idea to shipped product - I know how to get things made, and made well. I pride myself in my ability to make difficult, complex decisions that push the ball forward, while encouraging discourse and collaboration between a diverse set of experts. I turn chaos into order, making systems where there were previously none. It helps that I can pick up Figma or VSCode and actually walk the walk, as well. I\'ve designed, architected and led the creation of multiple, enterprise-wide, multi-brand, & multi-lingual design systems and content management systems. The majority of my career has been as a more technically-oriented designer and design leader.I currently lead product for a multi-tenant enterprise content and configuration management platform at League. I\'ve been the driving force behind bringing that platform from a spark of an idea to something used for mission-critical work.
