   Develop and implement real estate and workplace sustainability strategy across carbon, waste, water and ecosystem goals, in alignment with Microsoft’s 2030 corporate environmental targets- Lead global sustainability programs across scope 1 (natural gas, building electrification, fleet and transportation decarbonization), scope 2 (operational energy efficiency, renewable energy), scope 3 (embodied carbon in construction, supplier emissions), zero waste (operational waste across campuses and cafeterias, construction and demolition waste), and water (operational water reduction)- Work closely with the VP of GWS to align on sustainability strategy and capital planning and provide quarterly progress updates to the Chief Accounting Officer and the office of Chief Financial Officer- Foster strategic partnerships with regional teams to drive sustainability change management and ensure delivery on Microsoft\'s global commitments- Establish and lead a global team of program managers and subject matter experts to enhance program maturity, accelerate implementation, and advance enterprise-wide sustainability objectives- Manage large-scale, multi-year sustainability budgets and forecasts (Opex and Capex), ensuring the strategic allocation of resources for annual programs and multimillion-dollar projects- Manage voluntary and regulatory sustainability data collection, governance and reporting for Microsoft Real Estate and Facilities, collaborating closely with Corporate, Legal, and External Affairs to ensure accuracy and transparency- Develop, implement and govern sustainability standards and guidelines across design, construction and operation of real estate and workplaces- Represent Global Workplace Services across sustainability forums including within broader Microsoft (Climate Innovation Fund, cross-company working groups, CSO Office) and across the overall industry.
