ABOUT BRYSON TOMCIK
May 2019, I graduated from The George Washington University School of Business with a B.B.A. in Marketing and Finance, Magna Cum Laude. During my time at GW, I had three great internship experiences that directly applied to my concentrations. After freshman year, I interned for a private asset management firm, Beaumont Capital Management. At BCM I split projects among the marketing, sales, and trading teams. I had to complete a number portfolio analysis and reports that improved my skills ranging from Morningstar, Bloomberg, Search Engine Optimization and more. In the summer of 2017, I interned for a small company, The Niche Movement/FYN Creative. During this time, my main tasks were geared towards marketing; specifically digital. I assisted creation, promotion, and execution of Social Media workshops. I distributed a variety of content related to career advice, social media, marketing, leadership, and entrepreneurship in the form of blog posts, social video, audio, gifs, social images, and quote cards. This helped our small brand gain a greater social following and brand awareness.Summer 2018, I had the pleasure of interning for Arch Insurance Group. I was working for the underwriters in Professional Liability (E&O, Cyber, Media and Tech). This was a great chance for me to experience life in corporate America. In addition to gaining experience in underwriting analysis, I learned a great deal of professional communication skills. We conducted business on the open market, so it was imperative to maintain a strong connection with our brokers. I participated in a number of after-hours broker events in order to solidify client relations and spark new business. These events ranged from calls, workshops, lunches, happy hours, golf outings, and more. I believe that this communication experience thoroughly enhanced my client relations skills.Other interests: Portfolio Management, Sports Marketing, Percussion, Architecture, Hockey, Golf, Snowboarding
