ABOUT BRYNN MARKS
Dr. Brynn Marks is the Senior Director of Medical Affairs at Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF). After graduating from Jefferson Medical College Dr. Marks completed pediatric residency at Nemours AI duPont Hospital for Children/ Jefferson Medical College. She spent a year as the Assistant Residency Program Director while working as a general pediatrician in the weight management and endocrinology access clinics at Nemours. Dr. Marks completed her fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at Boston Children’s Hospital along with a Masters in Health Science Professions Education at the MGH Institute for Health Professions. As an NIH-funded clinician researcher, her T1D research focused on real-world evidence, the development of innovative educational tools to improve the clinical implementation of diabetes technologies, and addressing barriers to equitable outcomes. Dr. Marks chaired the ISPAD Education Committee, served on the Advisory Board, and currently serves on the Executive Committee as the Communications Director.
