ABOUT BRYCE SALMON

At Gonzaga University, I was an English major with a concentration in writing. I took multiple literature and writing-based courses during my time at Gonzaga University, all of which have benefited me by showing me that I picked the right academic path in terms of my major. During the Spring 2021 semester, I was enrolled in a course called,\"Disability in Literature\". This course caused me to want to improve the lives of those in need by providing them with assistance academically and in their daily lives. After taking the course, I chose to pursue a job in Disability Services. One of the most notable personal benefits of my Disability Services job is that I\'ve received the opportunity to learn braille. Now, I know not only how to read and write in braille, but also how to take on more complex tasks, such as creating graphs and shapes using computer programs that relay information in braille for individuals with visual impairments. Winter 2025 - I had fun studying stunts and acting at Cinematic Stunts & Acting in Barcelona, Spain.Fall 2020 - I was in a playwriting class, in which I submitted multiple plays to notable theater companies for consideration. In addition to taking a playwriting course, I also took a creative non-fiction writing class in Fall 2020. Both courses contributed to the enhancement of my enjoyment of writing and helping others. My internship with TheReviewReview.net in Fall 2020 further fueled my enjoyment of writing. With TheReviewReview.net, I worked on publishing a review of a literary journal with a collection of creative nonfiction and fiction pieces. The journal I worked on was called,\"Hunger Mountain Volume 24: Patterns\". I grew up in Hood River, which is a small town in northern Oregon that is known for having multiple fun outdoor activities, such as skiing and mountain biking, both of which I enjoy. It is worth mentioning that I am an accomplished martial artist. I have earned a black belt in Taekwondo, which took years of perseverance and dedication to my training. This perseverance and dedication are traits that I implement into my daily life, and I\'ve used those traits to be successful in previous jobs and my current job. I plan on continuing that pattern in all of my future jobs. I will keep up with my martial arts training forever, as it has brought balance to and has improved my life in many ways. Post-college, I want to continue to be able to follow one of my true passions in life, writing. If you’re looking for a dedicated, hardworking, personable, and detail-oriented individual, I am the man for the job.
