About Bryant Reyes
I grew up in New York City to immigrant parents, fascinated with how cities work and how they\'re built. That curiosity led to studying civil engineering and eventually to graduate research in hydrologic modeling and urban water use, where I learned how to handle messy data and worked to improve some of the tools we use to study and manage water in cities. Along the way I taught myself coding and data workflows so I could turn data into research, reproducible analyses, and scalable tools.In industry I moved from productizing catastrophe models to doing data product work at a startup and now being at the forefront of analytics at a specialty broker.I focus on turning complex science into clear, actionable insight so people can make the right decisions for the right reasons. I care most about real impact-solutions that reduce uncertainty, help others, and improve how people and the built environment respond to risk and our changing world.
