As a Peer Advisor, I help students navigate their academic and career journeys by promoting the full range of services offered through PCC Career Services. I provide peer-to-peer guidance, facilitate classroom presentations, and represent the department at outreach events across campus.• Delivered in-class presentations (“class raps”) to inform students about career resources and support• Staffed outreach events to connect with students and promote major exploration, career assessments, and scholarships• Offered peer advising on topics including scholarship opportunities and career clarity• Strengthened key skills in public speaking, leadership, and student engagement• Contributed to a positive campus culture by helping students feel supported and empowered in their career planning
