About Bryant Ling
Bryant is an experienced structural engineer in training with four years of experience supporting the design of various transportation infrastructure initiatives throughout the New York Metropolitan area. As a structural engineering consultant for WSP’s Transportation Facilities Group, Bryant possesses relevant experience supporting the design of the cities’s transit facilities, train stations as well as bus and train maintenance depots. In his role, Bryant has gained experience performing structural analysis of steel-frame structures using CSi and Bentley STAADPro as well as slab/foundation analysis using CSi SAFE. Bryant is equally skilled in utilizing industry Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software such as AutoCAD and Microstation for project deliverables. Bryant also possesses strong experience using Revit for interdisciplinary BIM coordination, project controls and project delivery. Bryant’s additional experience includes preparing engineering calculations using MathCAD, supporting construction phase services using Microsoft Access and overseeing project controls using Microsoft Power Bi.Prior to graduating from his alma mater with his Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering, Bryant passed the NCEES Fundamental’s of Engineering Exam and is certified as an Engineer in Training (E.I.T.). Most recently, Bryant earned his Master’s of Science in Structural Engineering from New York University. His relevant coursework include Statics, Mechanics of Materials, Structural Analysis of Structures, Finite Element Analysis, Advanced Steel Design, Design of Concrete Structures, Design of Tall Buildings, Advanced Foundation Design, Bridge Engineering and Wind & Earthquake Engineering.
