I am a business management & analytics professional who completed my MBA at the University of Texas at Dallas and received my undergraduate degree in History & Political Science from the University of Alabama. Prior to transitioning into construction, I worked as a Business Controller at the Airbus Helicopters North American HQ where I was able to gain technical skills & experience in financial data analysis & corporate management. Combined with my academics as an MBA student, I learned to analyze data using tools such as SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud, Alteryx, & Tableau. This opportunity provided me with vital knowledge & experience that established a strong foundation for me to become a future global business leader.Many underestimate the capabilities of a History major, but I am motivated to display my strengths due to my experience in adapting to change. Collaborating with transformational leaders at both Airbus & PDI to implement process improvements has taught me that I thrive under these circumstances. Having the ability to actively apply my MBA teachings directly from the classroom to the workplace prepared me to take on a new challenge working in my current role at Power Design as a Financial Analyst. Whether Aerospace, Construction, or Manufacturing is the industry - it will always be my goal to provide value by assisting both Finance & Project Management Teams to make decisions based on innovative reports & analysis for the long-term health of the business.It is exciting to work for a global business leader like PDI as we promote success at the highest level of competition. In addition, this role has provided myself with growth opportunities to learn new financial systems and build new key relationships. By combining my skills in research, communication, & writing as a History major with that of my quantitative data experience acquired at Airbus and graduate school, I believe that my new role as a Manufacturing Financial Analyst at Power Design will continue to allow me to apply complex accounting methods, large-scale budgeting processes, & leadership strategies to control operations data efficiently and punctually.
