I’m the Founder, Principal, and Chief Executive at Bryghtpath, the strategic advisory firm I launched in 2014 to help leading brands navigate uncertainty, protect operations, and build long-term resilience.For nearly 30 years, I’ve advised Fortune 100 companies, public institutions, and nonprofits on crisis management, business continuity, IT disaster recovery, and organizational resilience strategy. My work focuses on aligning resilience efforts with business priorities—protecting lives, reputations, and operations when the stakes are highest.Before founding Bryghtpath, I led global crisis, continuity, and intelligence functions at Target Corporation, and served as Chief Security Officer at the University of Phoenix, where I oversaw enterprise risk and global security for one of the largest educational institutions in the United States.I work directly with C-suite executives, boards, and resilience leaders to design and mature programs that perform under pressure.I’m also a doctoral candidate in the Management & Public Service program at Hamline University, building on an MA in International Relations & Contemporary War from King’s College, London. My academic research explores the construction of narrative in contemporary political discourse, examining how power, identity, and truth are shaped—and what that means for democratic institutions and public trust.Outside of my professional and academic life, I serve as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) locally, supporting emergency response and public safety.I hold certifications including MBCP, MBCI, CISSP, and MnCEM, and have been recognized as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House).If you’re leading through complexity—or preparing for what’s next—I’d welcome the connection.
