As a manger in EY Scotland\'s VAT team, I work closely with our teams leadership to deliver a quality service to our clients. I am responsible for a portfolio of clients covering a range of sectors from local authorities to manufacturers and sporting organisations. As well as managing my own portfolio of clients I work with senior leadership as a manager and advisor on some of our team\'s complex accounts again covering various sectors from food and drinks to pharmaceutical.I also work closely with our other tax teams delivering tax services to a number of public sector organisations in Scotland and assist our transactions team in providing VAT support on due-diligence projects.Finally another key aspect of my role is the coaching and development of junior members working closely with them throughout their career at EY to create well rounded VAT advisors.
