Licensed Professional Geologist in the State of Wyoming Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado Mr. Simpson has over 30 years of demonstrated experience in both geologic and geotechnical engineering. Experience includes all aspects of project planning and management from the design phase through completion, including, but not limited to: rock/soil field investigations, construction specifications, cost estimations, engineering and data analysis, final report preparation, and geotechnical investigations for dams, levees, roadways, wind farms, drainageways, bridges, mine sites, airports, towers, commercial buildings and residential development. Experienced with stability modeling and the kinematic analysis of rock/soil slopes utilizing the following computer software packages: RockPack Dips, SNAILZ, Geo-Slope SEEP/W and SLOPE/W, Leapfrog, Openground and Colorado Rockfall Simulation Program Version 4.0 (CRSP). Familar with @Risk 4.5 Excel statistical analysis program. Construction observation experiance of soil tieback anchors, rock bolts, helical anchors, drilled shafts, grout piles, secant piles, rock bolts and large scale engineering fill placement. Drilling experience in mud-rotary, hollow-stem auger, solid stem auger, odex, sonic, instrumented becker and PQ/HQ/NQ-wireline rock core drilling including televiewer, sonic suspension, packer testing, and dilateometer testing. In addition, possesses excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills, great attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and works well both independently and in a group setting. Proven track record of high client satisfaction and effective project delivery. Hard working, self-motivated, enjoy challenges, and personally driven by setting objective goals and meeting or exceeding expectations.
