About Bryan McNamara

As Senior Manager of Philanthropy & Sponsorships, Bryan leads employee volunteerism, giving, and grant programs for more than employees in the U.S. and Ireland. He oversees engagement in philanthropic events and activities while managing relationships with key stakeholders, as well as effectively communicating and promoting Sun Life’s philanthropic initiatives.Prior to Sun Life, Bryan spent several years in the non-profit sector, working with organizations that focused on providing equitable access to healthy, active lifestyles for children across the country. Previously a program manager at Good Sports, Bryan oversaw the distribution of $12M worth of new sports equipment to over children annually. Prior to Good Sports, Bryan led the planning of corporate and community volunteer events for KABOOM, focusing on building playgrounds for communities in need, engaging more than volunteers and serving children.Bryan holds a Master of Business Administration from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies & Spanish from Providence College. Bryan volunteers with several charitable organizations, including Habitat for Humanity and Ronald McDonald House of New England Charities. He also serves as a service trip leader for a youth group from his hometown in Connecticut.
