ABOUT BRYAN CRAIG SANDALA
Director, Field Testing as part of College Board\'s AP Instructional Design Department. Leading the engagement with key external stakeholders on elements of new AP course development and revision of existing course offerings. Designed and managing a research portfolio of districts across the entire U.S. so that course development is informed by the teachers and students in our care. Collaborating with internal AP program leaders (Legal, Finance, School & District Partnerships) and external subject-matter experts on course elements, assessments, and relevant instructional resources that both broadens the AP invitation to students and reflects course subjects and topics that fully engage students and prepare them with excitement for college and career. Leading the process of efficacy research on AP course resources that\'ll allow us to provide the most revelant and meaningful learning experiences for students and their teachers. I am constantly working closely with educators, designers, and research scientists in order to push for student practice experiences built upon the dual platforms of best-practice pedagogy and efficacy data. Formerly ELA Instructional Specialist supporting middle school and high school administrators and teachers with professional learning, data-based instruction, curricula design, and instructional initiatives.
