Traffic Engineering -Currently serving as an Assistant Project Manager for mid- to large-scale capital improvement projects funded by CALTRANS and LACMTA. I work closely with engineers, contractors, and agency stakeholders to deliver projects that improve infrastructure, enhance safety, and provide long-term benefits to the community-Led the development of a CALTRANS HSIP Cycle 11 application to install two new traffic signals at critical locations, resulting in an award of 90% funding on behalf of CALTRANS to enhance safety and mobility-Design striping plans for 45-degree and 60-degree angled-parking in neighborhoods where parking is impacted-Perform 300+ Engineering Traffic and Surveys which include performing a spot speed, calculating the 85%-percentile speed, and generating the final report.(These street segments with updated ET & S are shared with LBPD to cite speeding motorists.)-Perform field work for 50+ service requests submitted by residents regarding missing/faded red curb zone, faded striping, and missing signage-Assist in the installation of traffic counters to obtain Average Daily Traffic counts-Performed 38 Engineering Traffic and Surveys which include performing a spot speed, calculating 85%-percentile of speed and generating the final report.(These reports were presented to the Councilmembers.)
