Responsible for the global design and development of Calvin Klein Men’s Loungewear styles. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Design, Men’s Close to Body and collaborating across cross-functional teams, this role ensures seamless integration with the mainline collection for timely and effective delivery.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Design & Development:• Lead the end-to-end process for Calvin Klein Men’s Lounge, from concept creation through final product delivery.• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop range plans, calendars, and key milestones aligned with the mainline collection.Trend Analysis & Research:• Stay informed on market trends and customer preferences to inform innovative design concepts.• Conduct comprehensive research to develop full-look concepts, including fabrics, embellishments, and aesthetics.Product Execution:• Create and review sketches, prototypes, and product samples to bring designs to life.• Oversee garment fit, lead fittings, and provide detailed design and fit comments to ateliers and factories.• Ensure cohesive and directional collections by aligning with merchandising teams.Aesthetic Development:• Lead the creative development of graphics, trims, and textiles to align with brand identity and seasonal themes.• Guarantee flawless execution of design concepts in collaboration with product development and merchandising teams.Team Leadership:• Mentor, train, and develop department staff to build a high-performing, innovative design team.Skills:• Demonstrate expertise in loungewear or men’s apparel design.• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric development, and embellishment techniques.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and levels.
